If the goal of life is human welfare, then success is bound to come sooner or later — with this belief, a young entrepreneur from Gopalpur village in Saturia upazila of Manikganj, Mehedi Hasan, continues to move forward with dedication and vision. Since childhood, he has been known for his curiosity, energy, and hard work. Though the youngest among three siblings, he stands tall in thought, initiative, and achievements.

After completing his studies in Pharmacy, Mehedi Hasan began his professional journey at the country’s renowned pharmaceutical retail chain Lazz Pharma Ltd. Through diligence, efficiency, and integrity, he quickly rose to the position of Assistant General Manager and served with distinction until his honorable retirement in 2020.

But retirement did not stop him. Instead, he turned his dream into reality during one of the country’s toughest times — the COVID-19 pandemic. It was then that he founded Mediline Pharma Ltd., a government-approved Model Pharmacy. Today, he successfully serves as the Managing Director of the company.

Within just a few years, Mediline Pharma Ltd. has become a model of excellence. Beyond providing salaries, Mehedi Hasan ensures accommodation and meals for his 18 employees — a rare example of humane and compassionate leadership.

His work, however, goes far beyond business. Deeply connected to his roots, he actively participates in numerous social and community welfare initiatives. He is involved with the Gopalpur Association and other local organizations, regularly contributing to social causes. To encourage youth in sports, he personally donates equipment such as balls, bats, and nets. He quietly stands beside the poor, the helpless, and the sick. He also supports local students both morally and financially to help them pursue their education.

He firmly believes:

As the son of a retired police officer, Mehedi Hasan learned discipline, responsibility, and compassion from an early age — values that now serve as the driving force of his life. His vision is clear: to bring positive change to people’s lives and society through business.
